
Negin Zomorodi is an international composer, higher education lecturer, and musicologist specializing in transcultural modal theory and contemporary music-theatre. A PhD candidate at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), her doctoral research introduces PolGāh, an original hybrid genre synthesizing Persian Dastgāh systems and Flamenco Palos. Zomorodi’s extensive academic background includes over a decade of faculty lecturing in music form and counterpoint at the Tehran University of Art (Honar), alongside founding a conservatory-aligned academy. Her active creative catalog features symphonic commissions recorded by the Prague Metropolitan Orchestra, solo improvisation albums (Bubble & Mirage), and contemporary chamber works performed by elite international ensembles across Europe and North America, including the Flute Quartet Image in Italy. She holds advanced credentials from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto.
